Position: Systems Engineer

• Must be a BSECE graduate or has a Professional Degree in Computer   Science/Information Technology or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year of system administration experience in Unix / AIX / Linux /   Windows machines

• Able to write UNIX scripts and Windows batch programs

• Exposure in large mission critical infrastructure or in the banking environment is   preferred.

• IBM AIX Certification / Redhat (or any) Linux Certification will be an added   advantage.

• Provide system support / administration for VMware ESX, Stratus VOS, Stratus,   IBM AIX, Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

• Conduct analysis of system usage and make innovative   proposals/recommendations for system operations improvements like   performance tuning, capacity planning, etc

• Perform 24 x 7 technical phone/onsite support duties with other team members.

• Experience working in a vendor environment with a sense of urgency and must be   customer-oriented.

• Good interpersonal skills and a team player with strong communication skills,   written and verbal.
